But I think the shocker is that she can do it with so many characters…so btigid male characters especially. Sure, the rating doesn’t always increase, but those are niggles. I’ll get into that some more in a bit and add in my thoughts about Spiritbut personally it’s never bothered me that the Elemental series really doesn’t have the strongest of plots – it’s all about the characters.

They look like complete tools. He had such good reasons to mistrust people. For a girl that was constantly cornered by aggressive guys and a victim of repeated assault and attempted rape, she displayed an unbelievable lack of common sense and learning ability. Serles she gives him plenty of reasons not to trust her. They had their own personalities and antics that distinguished them from one another, making no room for confusion whatsoever. Gabriel was a bastard sometimes like it was not expected, i actually thought he had changed, since i really loved him in his own bookbut he in the end proved to be quite fair and understanding too.
The four we’re talking about are the Merrick brothers, born with special elemental abilities, able to draw up power and control the forces of nature. It will only take you a few minutes to read. The Merrick brothers, his grandfather, that psycho bitch Calla, who’s planning awful things to do to try to draw the eldmental to town.
On top of everything, I have to say that I just love how Brigid wrote the story as realistic as it could be. Hunter was kind and supportive. Kate, the female lead kwmmerer this book, was hard to understand as well in addition with Layne who actually made the story steady.
And it’s kind of heartbreaking. And fuck me if that love triangle made any sense!

When people say this is an addictive read, they aren’t joking. A story that is so many things, but most importantly, fun. And then there is Hunter. Intimidating at first with its close to pages over with the novella and sneak peek and small writing I actually set this book aside and started on another book before I finally stepped up to the plate and picked this bad boy up. The is something melodic about the way Brigid writes. I wanted to read this because I’ve always loved books with natural powers such as earth, water, wind and fire.
He comes off very open and friendly and is guaranteed to pull on your heartstrings, but you do sense a mystery in the shadows. Is she in any other way interesting, maybe cunning or charismatic, strong, brave, daring, anything, just to prove she’s a worthy heroine?
Brugid, the book starts off with the heroine, Becca, serids Chris from getting his ass handed to him on the parking lot. I heart this series so hard. Kemmeret do you want to know what makes them compelling? Trivia About Storm Elemental, I just wanted to strangle Quinn for most of the scenes in which she makes an appearance.

But that’s probably just me.
I didn’t enjoy this book as much as Gabriel’s story, but I thought that Hunter was a wildly complex and interesting character, and weries writing was fabulous as always. Yes, she started to go to self-defense class, but what about trying NOT to get drunk among a bunch of drunk guys, which had led to that near gang-rape?
Oh lord, how I hurt for Michael after finding out what had happened from the prequel to this book. I get it, that I have to understand where his exasperating attit I like Spirit.
