I first read this book when I was starting to get over struggling with my childhood religion. It was not for me. I was so ready to read this work and now in a position to look after myself, by going into the depths of ME to jhdith myself.

It is currently in its 15th anniversary of printing — so pretty popular, I would say. If only we could share our mysteries with each other, and find where the other genders belong, too, so we could have true community. I attempted reading this book years ago and didn’t get very far. One of the best books i have ever read. At first glance I thought it might be a little too kumbaya for me, and in fact, in some places it is.
